I wouldn't go so far as to say it makes you look "fucking ignorant," but it does make it difficult to follow you at times. Particularly with the homonyms.

Probably the weirdest thing to read is the way you use "being." As in "God damn it, I’ve being left ostracized from enough things in my fucking life because of who I am and how I do things." My first impulse was to wonder if this an Irish locution (I confess to being American, and it would be "I've been ostracized from..."). I've noticed several, to me, odd usages of "being" in this blog. I have no clue if that's proper English in Ireland, but it's strange to my eye.

Eh... I'm just trying to say that if you subtract all the obnoxious stuff from what anon MRA said, he still had a decent point that you could probably put more effort into your writing. Spell check is a wonderful tool- but it tends to spoil its users, who forget that it's not the same as a proofreader.

I'm not suggesting that writing has to be perfect on a blog... just that your message might come across better if you improved your writing.

Sorry this is so long.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-46550019865343038862007-06-17T15:53:00.000-07:002007-06-17T15:53:00.000-07:00the 'proper college' comment is more an irish slan...the 'proper college' comment is more an irish slang thing than a sign of a lack of education. like plenty of people would say 'where do you go to college?' 'oh, i don't go to proper college, i'm just doing a part time dip'. so not a sign of ignorance just using unfamiliar slang i'd say.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-29141108514849407322007-06-14T18:36:00.000-07:002007-06-14T18:36:00.000-07:00Please more posts about Mens' Rights and Feminism/...Please more posts about Mens' Rights and Feminism/Antifeminism. You need to learn not to care and get so irate over the comments of people who can't even write. "proper college" isn't exactly the sign of an educated person is it? You don't need to publish this comment, but... think. People want to hear about your opinions on Men's Rights, not college girls and boys, and internet trolls yelling between themselves, if you want them to take you seriously, ignore the kids and converse with the adults only!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-84139683076515193082007-06-06T15:34:00.000-07:002007-06-06T15:34:00.000-07:00Off topichttp://claritus.blog.co.uk/Neither MRA or...Off topic

http://claritus.blog.co.uk/
Neither MRA or feminist. I can tell you that the "Irish MRA" in question is definitely not me. I'm delighted to see a new Irish MRA on the scene, though, if it's genuine.

If it's a simple misunderstanding I'm sure that will become evident from the content of that person's blog or future postings.

I don't see any links to the blog in question - perhaps he could post a link here?Male Rights Networkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10090547244732306167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-13927479490706719252007-06-02T21:57:00.000-07:002007-06-02T21:57:00.000-07:00Could we swap links, here's my MRA weblog:http://m...Could we swap links, here's my MRA weblog:
http://mikeeusa.blogspot.com/

(comment somewhere on it if you put up a link to me)MikeeUSAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18300081599824709001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-40305046500739121652007-06-02T17:39:00.000-07:002007-06-02T17:39:00.000-07:00you've misspelled 'grammar' in your tags...you've misspelled 'grammar' in your tags...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-21877148731516599222007-06-02T03:50:00.000-07:002007-06-02T03:50:00.000-07:00I doubt this anon MRA tosser is even a MRA. Either that or it's one of those chicks you've written about previously trying to get back at you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-45052362931983151452007-06-01T15:45:00.000-07:002007-06-01T15:45:00.000-07:00This will be my last comment in regards to this is...This will be my last comment in regards to this issue on this blog. If you want to continue harassing me, then fine but after this, I’m not going to be adding any more fuel to the fire that is already after spreading out of control.

You claim to be an Irish based MRA with your own blog. The thing is, I’ve done a check and I know your not Male Rights Network, I highly doubt Sean Eire would waste his time complaining about my grammar and none of the other MRA sites mention any other Irish MRA blogs. So, where does that leave you? Either you are someone who is relatively new to MRA movement, someone who knows too much about me or a troll who is trying to make me look stupid.

Do you honestly think I wanted this? I responded in a relatively calm manner to what really can be seen as a rude comment and you respond by insulting me and the college I go to and telling me I’d resent you if I knew who you were. What type of response were you expecting from me then? I don’t take kindly to people mocking the college I go to. ( and I’d say other people would react in a similar manner as well )

As for the quote marks being the wrong way around and spaced around the letters ’ MRA ‘ in this posts title, it’s a typing habit I have. I ALWAYS put a space between words and quotes marks, commas, stuff like that. To me, it looks good and professional. I have no idea why you would get annoyed at such a trivial thing like that.

As for the shaming language I’ve apparently used, I have mentioned it before in other posts on my blog. I only put it there to remind readers of where I came from. I’ve honestly had it rough growing up, unlike feminists who fabricate and use that to shame people into silence.

Quite frankly, if your so fast to accuse ME of being ignorant. Then maybe you should look at what you’ve written here. It was you who was being rude and impolite.

I’ve wrote my post on politeness to highlight the fact that being polite all the time won’t get you anywhere. That being said, they are situations where in order to have your criticism taken aboard by someone, it should really be done in a polite manner and constructive manner, not going around saying things like ‘ Your fondness for posting rubbish (that shite about Galileo, for example) that has no basis in fact, is an embarrassment to the men's movement ‘ or ‘ Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise that to support the men's movement I have to suck your cock. ‘ That is being abusive, impolite and destructive.

I don’t censor any comments and don’t have any plans to soon, comment moderation is there to prevent any possible flood of spam. I really don’t want to have to resort to rejecting comments from people who are insulting or impolite. I don’t go around insulting people in my posts or in other blogs, so I expect the same common courtesy from people who post comments here in my own blog.

NHYNHYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07800185192234355460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-53182445291178860852007-05-31T10:28:00.000-07:002007-05-31T10:28:00.000-07:00You dont need to post your leaveing results m8 id ...You dont need to post your leaveing results m8 id take them off no one need's know.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34878415.post-15446770356953852232007-05-31T07:10:00.000-07:002007-05-31T07:10:00.000-07:00I've had some people make fun of and attempt to co...I've had some people make fun of and attempt to correct my English spelling before.

They quickly shut up when I explained that Americans spell English very differently than England, Canada, Australia, in fact the rest of the world.

So I was writing English and they were writing American English.
